Pupil record sheets have been included in each book to help children record and monitor their own progress.
Third and fourth class:
The third and fourth class books build on and develop the content introduced in first and second class. In these books, fifteen daily questions are presented for the children to complete. Emphasis is placed on spelling, phonics and vocabulary. Children encounter questions that focus their attention on words with similar meanings, opposites, and singular and plurals. They explore word building techniques such as adding prefixes and suffixes to base words. Confusing words and common pitfalls appear frequently to ensure that children learn how to avoid these errors. In the areas of grammar and punctuation, parts of speech (such as nouns, verbs, adjectives), capital letters, commas and speech marks are all covered
