Acaptivating celebration of the liturgical year, this DVD comprises six beautiful reflections presented against a backof evocative graphics and stirring melodies, each designed to empower and ignite the imagination. These reflections can be used in a variety of pastoral settings, as well as with post-primary students of all levels in a school setting.
Each reflection is thoughtfully linked to a specific time such as Harvest,Advent, Lent and the Angelus; in addition there is one entitled Remember, especially to help those who have lost loved ones to see the hope in the passing of time. Lastly, there is Seven Last Words,a deep and poignant reflection on Jesus final hours on earth which serves as a profound exploration of our faith, whereby the pain and suffering of Good Friday gives way to the dawn of hope on Easter Sunday. Local author Orla Walsh has launched a new DVD called In Gods Time, which is produced by Veritas.
Orla who is a religious education author with Veritas, is a mother of three who lives in Trim. Working as a hands-on writer for post-primary schools, she is fully aware of the need for modern and visual resources in all areas of religious education.
"Many of us are visual learners and we may not be aware of this. A beautiful image coupled with a stirring melody can capture the imagination and create a huge impact on the learner," she said.

"I am really delighted with the reaction to this DVD, we played it on a large screen in the Abbey Street shop window and many people who saw it from the Luas, or just as they walked by, came in to buy a copy," said Orla. The music of Liam Lawton and John Walsh provides the backto the reflections and images for each liturgical season.
