Self Esteem Lower Classes Prim Ed

This three-book photocopiable series investigates personal and social issues faced by primary school aged pupils, with a view to building self-worth and establishing resilience in challenging situations. The issues which are addressed include: self-management skills, interpersonal skills, decision making, goal setting, cooperation, bullying and harassment and concepts for a healthy lifestyle. The activities require pupils to clarify and reflect on these concepts by relating them to their own life and experiences. Pupils are required to access the effectiveness or appropriateness of their own behaviour. The activities are ideal for whole-class lessons or for small groups with particular groups.
