Maths Practice 2 by Celtic Press is intended for 2nd/3rd years in the Junior Cert Programme.
It provides Junior Cert. students with plenty of practice in the basic skills of mathematics in a directed and structured way. Provides ample practice in the basic skills necessary for further progress in maths. Helps the student in the proper layout of work and so become familiar with the desired steps and procedure. Helps in keeping work neat and tidy. Competence in the basic skills will lead to confidence and so develop in the student a sense of achievement and eliminate the "fear factor" of maths. The step-by-step approach will help develop the student as a learner and encourage the move towards self-directed learning.
